They will do a small set of shows in North America this summer, with a side trip to Glastonbury. It's all agreed upon by the band. Now it is up to the PR people to arrange for a nice announcement, coming soon. No other shows in mainland Europe but they will take care of all of those who do not have Glastonbury tickets with something extra.

Schätze mal einen Einzelgig auf der Bühne des HardRockCalling im Olympic Park, wird ja auch dort bei IORR erwähnt. Gerüchte in diese Richtung gibt es ja schon länger.

Olympic Park? Klingt gut! Wenn das zu vernünftigen Preisen über die Bühne geht, flieg ich auch gerne nach London. Wie viele Tickets wären für das Event denkbar? Hab gelesen die Stones betreten unter 2 Mio. $ pro Kopf keine Bühne mehr...ist das zu stemmen mit einem Kartenpreis um die 100€? Deutlich mehr würde ich nicht bezahlen...
Beim Glastonbury würden sie wohl insgesamt nur 1 Mio GBP bekommen (was für das Festival eine enorme Summe ist), für die vier Shows im vergangenen Jahr gab es 25 Millionen USD. Die Tickets kosteten zwischen 90 und 950 GBP (Quelle) - also unter 100€ wirst du sicherlich kaum an Karten kommen.
Der Standard schreibt von 40.000 Zuschauern, welche zu dem noch nicht näher genannten Event erwartet werden. Insgesamt sollen die Konzerte dort wohl eine Kapazität von 60.000 haben.

Die Leute zahlen es ja, von daher kann man es ihnen ja kaum vorwerfen. Da kann man - imho - denen nicht einmal moralische Vorwürfe machen, da sie das ja nicht auf Kosten anderer betreiben.
The Arcadia Spectacular has been confirmed to return to this year's Glastonbury Festival in a new area of the Festival. Der Evening Standard berichtet, dass Mariah Carey wohl am Sonntag auf der Pyramid spielen soll - in welcher Form bleibt aber offen. Vermute aber mal fast, dass es mal wieder ein weiter Name ist, der einfach mal in die Runde geworfen wird
