"Someone came up with the idea of doing a Nirvana song with PJ Harvey," Grohl said. "Kurt loved her and we love her and we thought, 'Yeah, what would we do?' I said: 'God, what if we were to do 'Milk It' from In Utero with Polly singing?' We all looked at each other like, 'Woah, that would be amazing . . .' and then she couldn't do it!"

Polly wurde nun, ob sie es will oder nicht, von der Queen zum Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire für ihre Verdienste um die Musik erhoben.
Damit heißt sie nun offiziell Polly Jean Harvey MBE.

PJ Harvey has announced her first book: a 224-page collection of images and poetry created in collaboration with photographer/filmmaker Seamus Murphy, titled The Hollow of the Hand. According to Amazon, the new text arrives October 20, 2015 in the United States (October 8 in the United Kingdom) via Bloomsbury Circus, and was crafted in the wake of her last album, 2011's Let England Shake. The Hollow of the Hand chronicles the authors' travels around the world between 2011 and 2014, to locations such as Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Washington, D.C.
Jetzt weiß man wenigstens, was die gute Frau in letzter Zeit getan hat.

Witzig, hab mich gestern erst gefragt, was PJ Harvey derzeit macht und wie die Chancen auf eine Tour bzw. neues Album für 2015 aussehen. Aber wenn sie ihr Buch rausbringt, dann sollte man damit ja eher nicht rechnen.
