Oasis Tour 2009

Hammer!
Immer noch eine der größten Bands der Welt und von Krise zumindest auf der Bühne keine Spur.

Donnerstag startet die Open Air Tour in Manchester. der Aufbau hat begonnen. Über 700.000 verkaufte Karten für die 11 Konzerte, die Shows sollen auf der Insel diesen Sommer alles toppen inkl. Festvials. Auf die Setlist darf man gespannt sein.

Wie ich das in Erinnerung habe gehen hier doch ein paar Leute zu Konzerten nach Wembley(dort bin ich) und Slane Castle!?

Dafür als kleine Info der Ablaufplan (Slane Castle):

21.00 - 22.50 - Oasis
19.30 - 20.30 - Kasabian (The Prodigy)
18.30 - 19.10 - The Enemy (Kasabian)
17.45 - 18.15 - Reverand & The Makers (Glasvegas)
14.00: Gates Open

Wie ist der Ablaufplan denn zu verstehen? Kommen evtl. noch The Prodigy und dann werden The Enemy halt gekickt, oder wie?

Bin schon sehr auf die Setlist gespannt und tippe mal auf: Roll With It, Live Forever, Gas Panic

Wie bitter. Da wirds bestimmt ordentlich Randale geben, das Publikum in Manchester ist sowieso ne Spur krasser als z.B. in London. Bei der letzten Tour mittendrin gewesen als es eine Unterbrechung gab, weniger schön.


Oasis were forced to abandon the stage at their huge headline show at Manchester's Heaton Park tonight (June 4) due to technical difficulties. At around 9pm (BST) the band began their set with 'Rock 'N' Roll Star', but the song was stopped due to sound problems. The band headed off stage for around ten minutes to the sound of boos from the crowd. They then returned and began to play 'Lyla' – although that song was cut short, again due to sound troubles. Liam and Noel Gallagher and co left the stage again, while a message appeared on the stage screens declaring that the problems would be fixed as soon as technical staff could sort them out. The message explained that generator failure was causing the issues, while smoke could be seen emanating from the equipment. The band are currently still backstage.

Oasis returned to the stage after around 40 minutes to successfully kick-start the set again with 'The Shock Of The Lightning' and 'Cigarettes And Alcohol', with the Gallaghers promising to give fans their money back. "Really sorry about that," Liam Gallagher told the crowd. "This is a free gig now. Everyone will get a refund." His brother Noel added: "The curfew's 11, but we'll play 'til they kick us off. Keep your ticket and you'll get your money back."

Wer hat Interesse an einem Stehplatz für

OASIS

im Wembley Stadion London am 9.7.2009?

Würde das Ticket natürlich zum Originalpreis verkaufen, höre mir aber auch Gebote an, wenn ihr nicht soviel (ca 75€ inkl. VVK-Gebühren und Versand) ausgeben wollt.

Flüge gibts natürlich zu Hauf von jeder zweiten Stadt, die Preise sind meist auch gut. Beispielsweise mit Ryanair Hin und Zurück von Bremen für 50 Euro inkl. Steuern, oft gibt es auch Superschnäppchen, mit denen man umsonst (!) fliegen kann, einfach die Augen aufmachen

Ich bin gespannt wie die Melt! Setlist aussehen wird.

Dürfte sich im Vergleich mit der oben geposteten Setlist nicht großartig ändern. Wird wohl bei den Festivals 2-3 Songs weniger geben. Streichkandidaten: Falling Down, Idle. Definitiv was von Noels Songs.

Ist hier jemand bei Rock am See anwesend? Ich fahre mit ein paar Kumpels runter, in Kombination mit nem Bade-Urlaub.

Gerade ist die Karte gekommen... da ich zu der Zeit "leider" in San Francisco sein "muss", gibts aber am 9. Juli kein "General Admission Pitch Standing" für mich

Ich werde für dich einen vollgepissten Bierbecher zusätzlich abkriegen. Sonntag dann schön von der Tribüne genießen. Block 126 Reihe 5 in dem Bereich ist scheinbar die Hälfte der Plätze vom Management geblockt

Oasis-Karte schon im Oktober bestellt. Dann gabs halt im Frühjahr die Möglichkeit, mit meinen Eltern nochmal in die Staaten zu düsen, und da das wohl das (vorerst) letzte mal sein wird, dass ich a) mit meinen Eltern verreise und b) in die Staaten komme, konnte ich mir die Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lasse, so bitter es auch ist. Fehlende Mitfahrer bzw -flieger gen London taten dann ihr übrigens, zumal ich die Band ja auch in 24 Stunden sehen darf

lustige randnotiz: ich habe heute am flughafen in london dave navarro getroffen, der mit JA am mittwoch dort spielt. hatte natürlich in der sekunde keinen foto (a) parat...

An welchem Abend warste denn? Hoffe am Samstag.

Das war alles so unglaublich geil. Bei Gelegenheit mal etwas ausführlicher berichten. Kasabian ebenfalls überragend gut, noch dazu mit dem engl. Publikum in Verbund, der Hammer was da schon abging.

Samstag mein bester Oasis Gig und das wird sich wohl nie ändern. Lässt sich nicht mehr toppen.

Phew! Thank the good Lord that weekend's over. Been absolutely ruined by the Wembley smash up. Still feeling like a little lump of dog-shit and it's fuckin' Tuesday!!

Saturday. What a night. One of THOSE nights. What an atmosphere! It pissed down but that only added to it. Easily one of the best nights ever. There was some moments, let me tell you. If you were in that crowd, and if I wore a hat I'd doff it in your general direction. I wouldn't go as far as Mr Bruno saying, "You're the best fans in the world". As Arsene Wenger once said, "Everybody thinks they have the most beautiful wife", or even more ludicrously (is that a word? ..it is now!!), "You're the best human beings in the world!"?? Nonsense! My kids are the best human beings in the world. Fact. BUT the version of "Don't Look Back In Anger" was very special indeed.
