The full line-up of the fifteenth anniversary of Primavera Sound will be revealed through an application for mobile devices of which the contents will be disclosed on Wednesday 21st January, although it is already available for free pre-download and the festival recommends that all those who want to discover the exclusive preview of the extensive list of artists who will perform at the festival download it right away.
Primavera Sound and Heineken will present “Line-App” in public with an act that will take place from 7pm (GMT+1) on the aforementioned date in the Sala Apolo of Barcelona, where those present will discover first hand all the details of the line-up and see an exclusive show by the British band Cinerama backed by an impressive formation of twelve musicians, followed by guest djs on the decks. Heineken, Primavera Sound’s strategic partner, will offer finger food and beer for all those who attend.

The Black Keys werden sicher neben dem Auftritt in Athen noch das Festival in Barcelona mitnehmen an dem Wochenende. Beim Termin in Porto sind sie allerdings wieder in den Staaten. Interpol wären durch die Auftritte bei RaR&RiP da auch weniger realistisch.
Daher nehme ich an, dass Patti Smith als Bonus für Porto gebucht wurde und nicht in Barcelona auftaucht.

Das beste Album kommt zum Jahresschluss.
Ich gebe mal meinen Senf dazu:
Florence + The Machine wird am Ende als ein internationales Aushängeschild in der Headline stehen bleiben. Dies ermöglicht jedoch noch keine Einschätzung über den Slot. Stattdessen schließt womöglich ein deutscher Act wie FURT oder Marteria die grüne Bühne ab. Mit großen Headlinern ist nicht zu rechnen, da mit Muse die gewünschte Führungskraft nicht verfügbar war.
Dafür wird dann der weltweit erfolgreiche Act Mumford & Sons an die Spitze des Line Ups gestellt und in den oberen Rängen werden sich auch noch Of Monsters & Men mit neuen Album und Sam Smith einfinden. Dazu gesellt sich noch eine "überraschende" Reunion.
