Bisschen Gossip zum Start. Auch wenn Eavis immer ähnliche Dinge erzählt. Spice Girls dürften natürlich Bullshit sein!

And while organiser Eavis is keeping schtum on the site, he's begun hinting at who we can expect to see on the huge stages next year.

Speaking to Radio 1 at the NME awards he coyly revealed that the biggest acts will be: "Two or three that have never played."

Now that is interesting as it immediately cancels several artists out.

Emily has previously hinted that she'd like Fleetwood Mac to take to the legendary stages, so perhaps they are being lined up. And The XX are rumoured to be in talks.

And of course the Spice Girls have been chatting about playing some reunion shows - the Legends slot perhaps?

The festival will return on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 and run till Sunday, June 30, so there's a bit of time to wait yet.

Denke nicht dass die Erwartungen zu hoch sind. Blickt man auf die letzten beiden Jahre so hatte man KOL/Radiohead und MAS/FF. Das wäre schon ein krasser Abfall wenn jetzt Volbeat/The Weeknd kommt

Hab gerade mal nachgefragt. Sie können nicht garantieren dass es eine Vorwarnung geben wird. Finde ich ziemlich scheiße! Weiß nicht, ob das einen motivieren soll schneller ein Ticket zu kaufen? Obwohl ich eigentlich denke, dass die Kombitickets wesentlich leichter im Überblick zu behalten sind.

Zur neuen Stage:

The Rock Werchter Festival takes place from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 July at the Festivalpark in Werchter (Belgium), which will look the same, yet different, this year. It will be more beautiful than ever with the newly-laid lanes and freshly-planted trees and shrubs. And it's not just the Festivalpark that's had a makeover. The festival itself has had its familiar, successful formula refined, with more music on a new stage: The Slope. The multi-functional slope that was introduced in 2017 is to be given an additional role. A stage is to be built beneath the highest point of The Slope. The picnic tables will be moved a little further along. The space created under the colourful flags will become a cosy open-air arena for the young pups, the stars of tomorrow, and the newest discoveries of the festival bookers. Herman Schueremans: "It's no secret that we've been longing for a fourth stage. There are so many bands - not yet well-known - that we would love to introduce to the Rock Werchter audience. They are internationally known for being very receptive, and artists who go down well are warmly embraced, often forever. We've got some treats in store for music lovers.

Tash Sultana spielt am 10.09. in Berlin und laut fb Info verkaufen sich die Tickets schnell. Da sie aber zwischen dem 7. und 10.09. nichts weiter spielt und auch nicht so groß vom Namen her ist, dürfte das gut möglich sein. Vor allem weil sie auch gleich 2 Konzerte in Köln gibt.

+ Bryan Ferry (12.Juli) - Nice!

Könnte ich mir auch gut auf dem Bilbao BBK vorstellen wobei die natürlich schon nen Oldtimer in den oberen Reihen haben. Zum Mad Cool wird's wahrscheinlich eher nicht passen.

Vielleicht wäre ja auch Kraftwerk was fürs Lolla. Sind dieses Jahr recht aktiv, würden zur bunten Ausrichtung passen und spielen Ende August/Anfang September bei einem Festival. Dazu heute auch die Werchter Classic Bestätigung.

So ein Käse jedes Mal wenn der Saalplan fehlt. Erst paar ?gute? Karten gekauft um dann später (mit Saalplan) noch paar sehr gute (jedoch nicht im überteuerten Golden Circle) zu bekommen.

Naja zumindest in München dabei. Hab sehr gute Erinnerungen an sein letztes Nürnberg Konzert!

Ja insgesamt nicht der Knaller. Aber die letzten 3 Songs waren aber sowohl akustisch als such visuell besser als der ganze erste Teil.

Ja das ist wohl war. Aber wir sehen wie es letztlich kommt. Würde sie als Barn Head zumindest nicht ganz abschreiben, auch wenn die natürlich schon sehr groß stehen. Sollten noch 2 größere Acts kommen, dann ist es zumindest nicht ausgeschlossen.

Es gibt auch nen recht guten (nicht unrealistischen) clashfinder im Netz - da ist LG auch als Barn Head eingetragen. Ich übertrag mal von dort nach hier, was da so gemutmaßt wird: (denke die größten Unsicherheiten bisher bei der Position von LG, NIN und eventuell JJ)

Danke für den Hinweis. Ist auch eher nur ne indirekte Reihenfolge (vor allem bei den Zelt-Acts kann ich das gar nicht einschätzen). Generell fände auch LG im Zelt besser, weil auf der Main Stage wahrscheinlich nicht die entsprechende Atmosphäre aufkommt. Hoffe echt, dass am Freitag noch 1-2 sehr hohe Slots besetzt werden.

Zur heutigen Welle: gefällt mir - auch besser als letzte Woche. Zwar schade um Fever Ray, ansonsten für mich keine neuen Verluste am So (wo ich nicht kann).

Ich denke das haben schon die meisten verstanden, aber das ist wohl mehr für Kritiker interessant, als für die (langjährigen) Fans und einen Veranstalter der Tickets verkaufen möchte.

Bitte? Die Zugkraft von Eminem dürfte 10 mal größer sein. Er führt alle amerikanischen Festivals an erster Stelle an und der Run auf die europäischen Tickets ist enorm. Fraglich aber ob er da nochmal nach DTL kommt. Denke eher nicht.
