THE DEFINITIVE 24 NIGHTS erscheint als Limited Edition Boxset mit 6CDs. Das Set ist zudem mit drei Blu-Ray-Discs voller Video-Content, einem Hardcoverbuch und einer individuell nummerierten Lithographie mit einem Foto von Clapton von Carl Studna bestückt
Das Limited Edition Boxset enthält nahezu sechs Stunden Livemusik und 35 unveröffentlichte Performances. Die Sammlung destilliert die Essenz aus Claptons Residencys in der Albert Hall von 1990-91, indem sie die besten Performances aus den Rock-, Blues- und Orchesterabenden zu kompletten Konzerten für jedes dieser Genres versammelt.
Sämtliches Audio- und Videomaterial von THE DEFINITIVE 24 NIGHTS wurde von Claptons Team - Simon Climie (Audioproduktion und Mixing), Produzent Peter Worsley (""""Slowhand at 70"""" und """"The Lady In The Balcony"""") und Regisseur David Barnard (""""The Lady In The Balcony""""), akribisch restauriert und modernisiert. Für die Performances auf THE DEFINITIVE 24 NIGHTS umgab sich Clapton mit einem Musiker-Line-up der Superlative, u. a. Johnnie Johnson, Jimmie Vaughan, Chuck Leavell, Phil Collins, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Nathan East, Greg Phillinganes, Steve Ferrone, Ray Cooper und Jerry Portnoy.
