Gemeinsames Projekt auf Initiative der Tochter von Woodie Guthrie, in welchem beide Acts zusammen unveröffentliche Songs von Woodie Guthrie aufgenommen haben. Es geht nun also in die Dritte Runde. Bin sehr gespannt, wollte mir die Mermaid Avenue Sessions I und II eh nochmal zulegen.
It contains the two previously released albums along with Mermaid Avenue Vol. III , which collects 17 previously unreleased recordings [von Woody Guthrie]. The box also features the 1999 film Man in the Sand, directed by Kim Hopkins, which documented the sessions, as well as a 48-page book with photographs, reproductions of Guthrie's sketches and lyric sheets, and new liner notes by Guthrie's daughter, Nora Guthrie.
