"Guitarist Wes Borland has a message for LIMP BIZKIT fans who are hoping to see a new studio album from the band's original lineup: don't hold your breath.

Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal announced yesterday (Thursday, February 12) via a press release that they were reuniting for a tour and new CD. But according to Borland — who is currently on the road with his new band, BLACK LIGHT BURNS — things are far from set in stone at this point.

Speaking to Bob Suehs of Rock N Roll Experience following BLACK LIGHT BURNS' February 12 performance in Towson, Maryland, Wes said about his involvement with the reunited LIMP BIZKIT, "I'm only doing the overseas shows with them as of right now, and as far as the new record, with those guys, don't believe it until you see it. As of right now, there's nothing happening; I'm only doing the shows overseas with them and we'll see what happens." Borland also confirmed that he is no longer a member of MARILYN MANSON's touring band after hooking up with the shock rocker for a couple of shows late last year. "[Wes] said that he was in the studio and did three or four songs with Marilyn Manson and Twiggy [Ramirez, bass], that it's some of the best music that he's ever heard in his entire life and that the new Marilyn Manson material is way better than the last record ('Eat Me, Drink Me')," Suehs writes on his web site. "When I asked him for an explanation as to what happened, he simply said that story was too long to get into right now."

Allerdings passt die Info besser zu dem Borland-Interview von vor einem halben Jahr.

Interessant auch dass Borland von "Ihnen"/"Them" geredet haben soll. Als fühle er sich garnicht wie ein echter Teil des Ganzen.
So oderso wird mir klar: Der Blogeintrag auf limpbizkit.com wurde von einem PR-Fuzzi verfasst und malt die Dinge etwas sehr rosig.

Nebenbei auchnoch interessant: Der potentielle Ausstieg Borlands aus Marylin Mansons Liveformation. Den doppelten Wes Borland wirds also wohl net geben.

find ich gut dass sie sich nicht gleich selbst überschätzten und kleinere locations buchen. denke aber es wird sicher eine recht große nachfrage geben.

Bin nun schon seit Jahren LB Fan, die Jungs haben mich quasi zu der Musikrichtung gebracht, die ich nu höre, aber ich glaube schon seit 3 jahren an nix mehr was die sagen. Ich glaub das alles erst, wenn die echt vor mir stehen. Ich hatte schon Karten für Touren die dann abgesagt wurden, die haben Videos versprochen die nie gedreht wurden und wie oft haben die mittlerweile nen Album versprochen? Die Band ist eine einzige große Lüge, dass muss man auch mal als großer Fan einsehen. Aber gut, ich kauf mir trotzdem die Karten, denn das Konzert bei dem ich damals war, war einfach nur göttlich. Hoffentlich kommen se diesmal auch wirklich ...
