Muss ganz ehrlich sagen, mir ist so ein Album tausendmal lieber als das mMn grottige Vol3! Man muss sich eben damit abfinden, dass die S/T; Iowa Zeiten ein für allemal vorbei sind...

Auf AHIG sind 3-4 Songs, die alles ausmachen, was mir so an Slipknot gefällt: Power, Brachialität, aggressive Lyrics etc. (Gematria, AHIG, This Cold Black, mit Abstrichen auch Suffer und Psycosocial) Da diese Lieder wohl auch so ziemlich die sein werden, die es live um die Ohren gibt, bin ich zufrieden.

Der Rest ist halt Stone Sour. Ich mag zwar SS wirklich sehr, aber wo bitte ist der Sinn eines Nebenprojekts, wenn man bei vielen Songs kaum nen Unterschied hört?
Snuff z.B., keiner kann mir erzählen, dass dieses Lied nicht auf der nächsten SS Platte gelandet wäre, wenn diese an der Reihe gewesen wäre! So ein Song würde zu SS einfach auch viel besser passen. Dort könnten sie ihn live spielen und er würde sicher bombastisch rüberkommen. Bei Slipknot hingegen wird er in der Versenkung verschwinden, da ich mir absolut nicht vorstellen kann, dass er perfomt wird. Einfach schade um das Lied, da es wirklich eine herausragend schöne Ballade ist...
