On September 11, 2009, The Empire Shall Fall announced through their myspace that their debut album "Awaken" will be released on November 17, 2009. It will contain eight songs, including the previously recorded demo tracks re-recorded and reworked, and three new songs which have only been played live.

Bei mir ist das genau anders rum, ich mag eigentlich von KsE alles ab der Heartache. Knüppeln können andere einfach besser, KsE sollen mal ruhig weiter nur "Hits" auf ihre Platten packen

I have gotten more emails & messages than I can count about this project. First of all thank you so much for your interest! I am very happy to announce I just listened to the album for the first time in months the other day & it reduced me to tears. I couldn't be more proud of it & happy that Adam & I finally made a record after years of talking about it.
So now on to the "bad news" for all of you anxious poeple. The "record label" that picked this album up has in fact shelved it for an unspecified amount of time. This has been done for stratigic & political reasons... This is why you haven't heard any updates from me etc. etc. I am trying my best to keep it out of my head. I feel like the masterpiece of my career is just sitting there. I of course can't let anyone hear it or really give any more details. Lets just hope this record label know exactly what they are doing. So in reality I don't think this album will see a release this year at all. Lets hope it makes it out in 2010.

Ist zwar total 0815, aber mir gefällts.Habe das Album gerade einmal komplett durchgehört.
Der erste Eindruck ist positiv, allerdings ist die Spielzeit von unter 40 Minuten und der "Umfang" von nur 8 Liedern doch etwas sehr wenig.
Aber immerhin kostet das Album zumindest in den USA auch nur 10$, von daher passt das dann doch wieder.
Ein reguläres Album wäre mir trotzdem lieber gewesen...
