allerdings ein vielversprechener satz von drummer adrian young:
"We're going to start touring in the spring of 2009 through the summer, and we're going to continue to work on music while we're travelling."

No Doubt Announces 2009 Summer Tour With Special Guest Paramore

LOS ANGELES, CA – Grammy-winning rock band No Doubt announced plans for their 2009 summer tour today.

The band will launch their highly anticipated tour this May, playing outdoor amphitheaters and arenas throughout the summer. Singer Gwen Stefani said, “The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. It feels good to be all together again."

No Doubt has selected Paramore as the special guest for the tour. "What a dream tour! We couldn't be more excited to kick off 2009 by touring with a band like No Doubt,” said Paramore singer Hayley Williams.

"Get there early...this is going to a be a great night from the moment the lights go down," said bassist Tony Kanal.

The third act that will open the show will be shared among The Sounds, Janelle Monae and Bedouin Soundclash. Check your local listings for more specific information.

“Now that five years have passed, the excitement level for us is extremely high. We are so fresh and ready! I feel like a kid again when rehearsing these songs,” said drummer Adrian Young.

The 2009 No Doubt Summer Tour will be produced by Live Nation and will include stops in both the U.S. and Canada. The band last toured in 2004, co-headlining with Blink 182.

-.- okay langsam schwindet ein optimismus ein wenig. 2 für meinen geschmack wirklich klasse (center/alterna)-headliner will ich doch nur...

naja dann halt 2010 hätten frischen wind in das 09er lineup gebracht.

Ich würde die jetzt noch nicht abschreiben, schließlich
sollen bei der Tour auch The Sounds dabei sein
(zumindest zum Teil). Und die spielen auch beim
Southside, also dürfte sich ein gewisser Teil schonmal
nicht mit Juni überschneiden.

Könnte genauso gut eine Tour ab Juli/August durch die
Staaten werden.

Ich weiß nicht ob's stimmt, aber ich hab da vor ner
Woche was gehört. Ich frag mal nochmal nach, ob's
dazu was neues gibt...

Naja, die sind im Mai auch noch in den Staaten und headlinen das Bamboozle. Ob die für nen Monat nochmal nach Europa kommen?

Das wichtigste ist mal das sie wieder touren!Früher oder später kommen sie nach Europa,kann mir schon vorstellen das sie im Juni 3 Wochen hier paar Festivals mitnehmen,oder im August...
Spätestens 2010 mit neuem Album werden wir sie bestimmt zu Gesicht bekommen
