Limp Bizkit and Korn have been approached to play this year's Download Festival, organisers have confirmed.
Dream Theater, Def Leppard and Dragonforce have also been approached to perform at the Donington bash alongside Manowar, who haven't played in the UK since 1993.
Speaking to Metal Hammer, Download boss Andy Copping said: "We want to make sure we have the best headliners available and we’ll work down the bill from there.
"Limp Bizkit are in the mix, Korn are in the mix, Dream Theater are in the mix, Dragonforce…Def Leppard…these aren’t names being put out there for speculation, I am in talks with all of these artists.
"I’m in talks with Manowar. Manowar haven’t been to the UK since 1993, I believe, and I’d love to get Manowar on the bill."
