Next June, members of a local rock band called Deepset will be playing a special show in Lake Park, Florida, with Nicko McBrain -on his birthday date- and Dave "The Beast" Spitz (the bassist who played with Black Sabbath and Great White among others).
Here are the details found on the Deepset website:
"Deepset is honored and privileged to announce a show collaboration with Metal Legends NICKO McBRAIN of IRON MAIDEN and DAVE "The Beast" SPITZ from BLACK SABBATH.
This show will consist of 4 local bands headlined by DEEPSET. Then for the show finale, DEEPSET transforms into ......"WRATH CHILD" .....with Nicko McBrain on drums, Dave Spitz on bass, Jonathan Murphy on vocals and Rick Baum on guitar (second guitarist to be announced) performing some of IRON MAIDEN's biggest hits.
This is a must see event you won't want to miss. DEEPSET/WRATH CHILD is in serious rehearsals meeting the rigorous demands of these legendary musicians (Nicko demands perfection if you going to play Maiden) so expect some serious jamming. This show will be full of special events also, such as, signed memorabilia giveaways, VIP tickets will be available which include a back stage meet & greet, best Iron Maiden/Eddie costume contest with the winner coming on stage for a song, ....and much more.
The show is scheduled for June 5th and will be held at the best club in South Florida, the Kelsey Club. Full details are still in the works and will be released as they are confirmed. Check back to this page often where details will be posted regularly.
