Für das Hamburger Konzert konnte man heute noch Tickets bestellen. Es ist also doch noch nicht restlos ausverkauft.

Insgesamt scheint es sehr mysteriös, wahrscheinlich eher Verarschung. Dennoch möchte ich es posten. Folgendes Plakat wurde in Barmbek gesichtet. Ich würde sofort hingehen!

Juchu, ich habe sie damals noch in der Gr. Freiheit gesehen. 25 Euro haben die Karten damals gekostet. Großartiges Konzert, damals waren die ganzen Hausfrauen noch nicht dabei.

The Tivoli Symphony Orchestra offers a break from the rhythms with exciting classical music.
Rhythmical music is obviously the main player at Roskilde Festival. However, in 2008 we would like to offer the audience a break from electric guitars and drum machines and offer a selection of classical music.

THE TIVOLI SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (DK) stands ready to serve fresh and challenging music. Focus is on the 20th century – from the sprouting and colourful sounds by Sjostakovitj and Stravinsky to the minimalistic meditations by Arvo Pärt.

Two young musicians lead the 80 man strong Tivoli Symphony Orchestra.

27-year-old Alexander Shelley conducts. He has for a number of years visited The Tivoli Concert Hall with his conceptual concerts called ”440 Hz”. Here he gives the audience treats from the classical symphonic compositions with special emphasis on modern music.

Shelley shares the stage with 32-year-old cellist Daniel Müller-Schott who, like Shelley, enjoys performances in front of a younger audience.


The Roskilde concert presents the following compositions:

Coldplay spielen auch beim Fuij Rock Festival in Japan, also keine große, aufregende Sache.

Großartiger Math Rock. Eine der Bands, die 2008 durchstarten könnten.

REM spielen am 21.6 in Atlanta. Somit kommen sie also nicht als dritter Head in Frage.

Modest Mouse und The National sind auch dort.

Falls es einen Elektrotag bzw. abend gibt, könnte der Head auch Portishead sein.

RATM habe ich schon mal gesehen, insofern nicht so interessant, aber schön, dass sie wieder zurück sind. Schaue ich mir aber lieber auf einem Einzelkonzert an. Das RAR Line Up ist ja bisher überhaupt nicht mein Ding. Das Hurricane ragt durch die göttlichen Radiohead heraus, leider besticht das bisherige restliche Line-Up auch nicht durch Brillianz. Momentan präferiere ich beiden Fällen Einzelkonzert und vielleicht auch noch ein ausländisches Festival, wo dem Elektronischen auch mal ne Heimat gegeben wird.

Led Zeppelin are definitely reforming says Robert Plant

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has confirmed that the legendary rock band will be reuniting later this year.

A reunion has been strongly rumoured for the last week or so and today (September 5) the singer confirmed it's definitely on.

A fan who met Plant in London today contacted NME.COM explaining that the singer said he was on his way to meet bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.

"How did you find out about this?" asked Plant when asked about the prospects of a reunion show by the autograph hunter. "Well we've got a band meeting about it this afternoon about it. There's not a lot to work out as it's only going to be one-off gig."

NME.COM has also learned from a music industry source that the show, possibly to take place in November at the 02 in London, will be a charity gig organised by promoter Harvey Goldsmith.
