could Bon Jovi be bound for Isle of Wight Festival 2013? first headliners revealed?

According to the Daily Star, (here), American rockers Bon Jovi will be appearing at next summer's Isle of Wight Festival. The newspapers says at the end of an article talking to frontman Jon about the ticket pricing for Bon Jovi's tour announced yesterday that, "They'll also headline the Isle of Wight Festival.". The article quotes Jon as saying, "It's legendary so we're really glad to be a part of that."

David Guetta for Isle of Wight Festival 2013?

eFestivals believes that DJ and producer David Guetta will be appearing at next summer's Isle of Wight Festival.
Our sources say that the 'Nothing But The Beat' DJ will bring his fusion of hip-hop, R&B and electro beats to the Isle Of Wight on the first night of the festival.

Heute entscheidet sich, ob das Festival auf der Insel bleiben kann - Die Lizenz muss neu beantragt werden und es gab wohl einigen Unmut über die Verkehrssituation in den letzten Jahren zu dem Wochenende.

Gibt es keine Lizenz, dann gibt es wohl schon eine Alternative auf dem Festland - bzw. auf Großbritannien

Isle of Wight Festival's future is safe. event keeps its licence at the licence review

The result of the Isle of Wight Festival festival licence review held over the last two days at the island's County Hall has been announced, with the Festival Licence Review Committee upholding the current licence.

Vielleicht ja auch ein Name, der beim Hurricane ein Rolle spielt? Thema: Blur?

Ich bin gespannt. Dann würde ja egtl. nur noch Pulp fehlen, die allerdings erst '11 dort gewesen sind

IoW hatte letztes Jahr auch schon ein saustarkes Headlinertrio. Da ist halt scheinbar richtig viel Geld dahinter.

Das ganze wird auch von der Solo Agency veranstaltet, eine der größten Konzertagenturen Englands, welche u.a. die U2, Genesis, Lady GaGa oder früher auch die Stones im Roster haben/hatten.
