The Soundwave 2012 lineup was supposed to be announced just before Van Halen’s set at Soundwave Revolution in September. Obviously with the cancellation of the Revolution that plan has now been scrapped and it appears that the drip-feed style announcement of the Soundwave 2012 festival lineup has begun.

According to Maddah roughly 15 to 20 out of the 60 bands on Soundwave 2012 tour will be acts originally booked for the Revolution and the full lineup for the festival is likely to be announced during the Counter-Revolution mini-festival tour.

Offspring, Marilyn Manson and Evanescence are a few new names being thrown in for the Soundwave 2012 line up which will be announced this Friday night.

Herald Sun reporter Nui Te Koha has revealed the names on Triple M Hot Breakfast this morning, saying “Soundwave 2012 get ready for Offspring, get ready for Marilyn Manson and get ready for Evanescence!”, as well as claiming that they won’t even be the headlining acts.

Das sind ja jetzt schon 61 Bands und "more to be announced".

Das Line Up ist ja schon ziemlich fett!

SOAD
Slipknot
Hole
Machine Head
Trivium
Cobra Starship
Coal Chamber
Dashboard Confessional
Thursday
Dillinger Escape Plan
Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society
Mastodon
Steel Panther
Sisters Of Mercy
Hatebreed
Biohazard

Angels & Airwaves?

Bin bereits in Australien.

Man muss allerdings tief ins Portemonnaie greifen...
