Wireless Festival 2011 first headliner annonced on Monday

Ich glaube, ich habe mein Festival für nächstes Jahr gefunden. Optimales Datum und dann auch noch im Hyde Park eine Headlining-Show von Pulp. Wie lange ich darauf gehofft habe.

Tickets will be priced at £48.50 and go on sale at 9am on Friday 12th November

Für alle drei Tage??? 48 Pfund? Ein Tag, oder?

Daft Punk haben ja schon einmal dort gespielt, also gut möglich.

Single day tickets are priced at £48.50, and will go on sale at 9am on Friday 12th November and eFestivals will have links to buy tickets then. Weekend tickets will be available at a later date.
When buying tickets an extra 50p carbon offset for can be added to orders to negate the environmental impacts of travel to and from the festival, these funds will be used to invest in environmental projects in local schools.

Das Daft Punk-Gerücht fußt auf den selben Informationen wie beim Glastonbury. Ursprünglich hieß es, dass Daft Punk erst im August kommen würden. Neil hat nun aber gesagt, dass er ne Info bekommen hat, die dem seeeeehr stark widerspricht. Könnte auch für beide sprechen, da gerade Sachen wie o2 wireless / Hard Rock Calling sich nicht zwingend mit dem Glastonbury beißen.

also in england ist das auf jeden fall ein hammer. und ich war als ich es hier gelesen hab auch sehr erstaunt.

Nachdem das Bestival zunächst Daft Punk für UK ausgeschlossen haben gabs heute den Rückruf:

"Just to undo any rumours I'd spread about daft punk not doing any uk festivals...they may well be.. But not bestival"

"And when I say festival I mean that in the loosest sense of the word"

Passt egtl. gut zum Wireless. Neil von eFests hatte von Anfang an Skepsis bzgl. dem Dementi vom Bestival und glaubt nach wie vor, dass es nicht beim Wireless bleiben wird - Wo wir beim Thema Glastonbury wären.

Einer davon werden wohl lt. Ticketmaster-Fehler die Black Eyed Peas werden.

Chemical Brothers neues "strong rumour" für den Samstag und somit wohl evtl. auch dritter Head.
