Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions

Das neue Album gefällt mir wirklich gut. Haben mich auch als Vorband von Muse überzeugt.

wirklich ein super album!kann inzwischen mit jedem song was anfangen, wobei mountains immernoch mein favorit bleibt.
hab se auch am samsta in zürich live gesehen nachdem ich se bim ring verpasst habe.war natürlich auch sehr geil!

Bubbles war ja immer der Track, von der ich dachte, die geht als Single am meisten durch. Erscheint nun am 27. April, bin mal gespannt wie die dann starten.

Biffy haben ein neues Album angekündigt:

Meanwhile the band have been talking about the follow up to Only Revolutions, which they will begin recording at the end of the forthcoming US commitments.

Work is well underway for Biffy Clyro's sixth album, which will follow-up the Mercury Music Prize nominated Only Revolutions.

"I love writing songs at home, so we've got about 15 or 16 songs that we did over new year, as soon as we get off the road we'll get the album done," frontman Simon Neil told 6 Music.

And it seems it will be a distinctly Biffy sounding record:

"We're always going to be a rock band, it's always going to be heavy, but hopefully just bring different elements, it's going to sound like Biffy, it's not going to be a reggae record put it that way."

Ich hab "Only Revolutions" und "Puzzle" und mir gefallen beide sehr gut. Jetzt will ich noch ein weiteres Album von ihnen, da ich nicht genug kriege, und deswegen wollt ich wissen, was von den ersten 3 das Beste ist.

1) Blackened Sky
2) Infinity Land
3) The Vertigo of Bliss

Wobei sich Infinity Land und The Vertigo of Biss nicht viel geben. Glitter and Trauma (infinity Land) ist imho ein ähnlich starker opener wie Living is a Problem...
